Liz Hair Care: Totally Recommend! I've only been to Liz one time and loved it. I went to her to get my hair straightened for prom. Because I've been natural for awhile, I love that she made sure to protect my hair from heat damage. Liz has quite a lot of experience in natural hair: the stylists at her salon can work with natural hair well and style it in its authentic form. Not to mention, at 12pm on a Friday I went to the salon and left two hours later! She works fast! Tell Liz that I recommended you!

Princess Hair Salon: Recommend. This used to be my salon, and it was pretty reliable. I've been getting my hair washed and pressed by them for years, and they do a great job! They also have a braider who is pretty good, but also pretty expensive. I would go to another place for cheaper braids, but if you want nice braids that don't damage your hair, this braider is worth the price. To be honest, getting my hair braided by her didn't even really hurt. They take forever at this salon though! If I sign up for a 9am appointment, I'm lucky to be out by 3! Clear your schedule!

Intriguing Hair: Totally Recommend! If you want any type of extension, they are your girls! They get you in and out really fast! Furthermore, they make their own wigs! However, they do not wash hair; you have to go in with your hair pre-washed. If you don't like to waste time and don't mind washing your own hair before, check them out!

Glamour Hair Braiding: Recommend. I've been getting my long twists done by them since the beginning of the school year and love it everytime! However, I have only gotten my hair braided by the youngest stylist. My little sister went and got her hair braided by another stylist who was older, and she hated it so much that she asked for them to take it out. Make sure you show them a picture of what you want!

Linda's African Hair Braiding: DO NOT GO! Seriously! Don't go to any of them. There are so many of them, and I think only of them is named Linda. To be honest, the hair turns out beautiful! Really! But the experience is so terrible. I was in pain the whole entire time. They used vaseline in my hair. They comb through big chunks of hair with a rat tail comb, not starting at the ends. It smells bad. The woman doing my hair got into a fight with a customer while braiding my hair. Scariest moment of my life. !Stay away!
