Go-to Hair Playlists

Look, whenever I start to do my hair, I begin with the knowledge, that I might just be in front of my mirror for a couple hours. Thus, some entertainment is needed so that I don't drive myself crazy. Typically, when I am doing hair, I'll listen to black artists: some SZA, some Willow Smith, some Rihanna, some Kendrick, some Frank, and who cannot forget the mother herself, Solange. But, more recently I've been playing the songs of my past. Songs that my mother would play around the house while doing my hair. Once the music begins to play, I immediately remember the pulling and tugging of the comb through my hair. I know that back then this was kind of painful, but the memory of it now is pretty hilarious and makes me nostalgic for those moments.
