Met Gala 2018: Sunday Best Hair!

New York’s most high fashion evening kicked off last night on the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Throughout the years, Hollywood’s most high profile celebrities work within the theme of the night, transforming themselves into walking art. This year, guests embodied the concept “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. The theme of the night intrinsically forces Euro-christian culture to the forefront of the evening. Quite often the link between catholicism and art alludes to the European Renaissance where sculptures and paintings reminisced of greek and roman mythology. Throughout the evening, I enjoyed seeing how black women drew themselves into this concept. Here are my favorite hair moments of the evening!
