Things You Can Relate to If You've Ever Gotten A Wash n Press

Dressed in comfy clothing, you wake up fresh and early, ready to get into that salon chair quick because that press from 4 weeks ago is starting to look weak. So you hurry out the door to make sure it doesn’t become a full day ordeal

But when you show up to the salon, the grates are down, the door is locked, and your stylist is nowhere in sight.

When your stylist finally does show up, she's holding a plate of food, talking about how there was traffic

When she calls you over to get your hair washed after waiting an 35 minutes for her to finish her food

But after 25 mins, the stylist is kiki-ing it up with the other customers. Meanwhile your neck hurts from sitting on the cold sink for so long

When you've been under the dryer for 45 minutes and check your phone to see its 2:55 but you needed to be out of there by 2:00

When your phone's about to die so you have to choose between Essence Magazine 2003 and Jet Magazine 1977

Your stylists' face when you pull your head out from under the dryer even though its been off for an 20 minutes now

When she finally gets to you and starts detangling your afro

Your face when she tells you that you should consider relaxing it

The face the stylist gives you when you tell her you don't think you need a trim

How you look seeing the hair fall to the ground as she "trims" it

When you're satisfied with the results so now you can hair flip out of there

But then your stylist says, "just let me bump the ends real quick"

And now when you look in the mirror you look like this

But either way you walk out of the salon feeling like a dime piece
